“ Very yummy and reasonably priced! We had the green beans (tasty but pretty salty!) and three rolls. Knight's Night was the favorite! Fast and friendly service. The noodle dishes looked delish - we'll be back! ”
“ My favorite restaurant for Dan Dan noodles in the Portland metro area. Portions are generous. Service is fast, friendly and efficient. ”
“ Phenomenal food and easy to order online! Go back and eat there almost every week! The sushi is fresh and some of the best in the area ”
“ This is our go-to local restaurant. The food is always good. Very consistent quality. Friendly service. ”
“ We ordered dan dan noodles, garlic noodles, and some plain pan noodles for my 2yo. They were all 5/5 delicious and my wife and I kept stealing from each other. Sushi was very fresh, and the wonton hot and sour soup is a sleeper item! Service was fast and friendly. ”
“ Family stopped by here for dinner on the way back to Portland from Silver Falls State Park. I was a little wary at first because they had a variety of dishes spanning different cuisines (Japanese, Chinese, etc.)... but to my surprise everything was really good, even the sushi and noodle dishes. LOGISTICS Parking is easy since the restaurant is located in a strip mall. Don't let that fool you - the restaurant itself is very pretty inside. Service was quick in taking our orders and getting food out. They were also friendly about checking our spice tolerance for certain dishes. FOOD Singaporean Noodles: This was our favorite dish of the night - it was a good blend of flavors reminding me of curry, and it had a "toasty" flavor that's hard describe. The veggies and protein were great, making it a balanced meal. Really liked the char on the chicken and they didn't skimp on the shrimp either. Would highly recommend this dish of you like noodles and curry flavors. Pork in Garlic Sauce Noodle: This was good (though I liked the Singaporean Noodle more) - it's very saucy with a great garlic flavor. The noodles weren't soggy despite how saucy it was, and I liked the noodle thickness. It's a little spicy even if you order it mild, as it has a spicy kick that builds up as you eat more of it. Plant Box Roll: Excellent option for vegetarians (might be vegan too?) - I loved the sweet potato tempura inside and the sweet potato crispy strings on top. Made it fun to eat texture wise, but it was also really tasty! Aburi Salmon: It's a flatter / box style of sushi/nigiri, but it was really good! Siracha mayo / jalapeno gave it a nice kick. Chirashi Bowl: Quality wise, this was a really good chirashi with lots of fish piled on top before you go to the rice. Good balance with cucumbers and ginger too to make it refreshing. Mango Green Tea and Pudding Milk Tea: Both tea drinks were really good despite not coming from a "specialty shop" - like I said earlier, I was amused at the mixed cuisine here. The boba was cooked perfectly, not too tough but just the right soft/chewy texture. Coming from the Bay Area where coffee/boba tea is hitting $6-8 their cheaper prices for boba tea were a welcome without compromising quality. OVERALL The food was really good for the prices and portions - you can easily share 2 noodle dishes with a family of 4 and order some other rolls/side dishes. Despite them offering a mix of different cuisines, the quality didn't suffer with each dish and they were all good. Ironically our least favorite item was the chirashi... but that was only because the other dishes we got were such standouts. Worth checking out if you're in the area, and it's also on the way back to Portland if you're coming from Silver Falls State Park. The easy parking makes it a convenient stop over as well. ”
“ Food was good. I recommend the beef chow fun, spicy pork wontons, Xiao long bag and sake flight. ”
“ Very nice people here. I had never tried this place or the sushi I wanted. I enjoyed it very much, and will be back to try other things on the menu. Everything was tasty. ”
“ After a long day at Bridgeport, my friend and I were in the mood for some yummy Asian food, and Soku did not disappoint! We started with the green beans, and they were reminiscent of the green beans at Din Tai Fung, but considerably less salty. These were super garlicky, with carmelized sweet onion as well as scallions. We also shared the beef chow fun, which I thought was as nearly as good as you could find in a Chinatown except it was slightly under seasoned for me, andI did wish there was more beef. Adding a splash of soy sauce to the noodles helped the flavor. The salmon roll was exactly that...a salmon roll, but it was nice to have this sort of variety to our meal. I really wanted to try the Taiwanese beef brisket noodle soup, but will have to save it for another time! It seemed pretty steady for a Saturday evening, but not too crowded. Staff was attentive and efficient, and food all came out pretty quickly. ”
